Apply: https://www.lsijax.com/careers/General Summary The Supply Specialist II will serve as a point of contact for coordinating receipts, inventory, storage, and issuance of equipment, materials, parts, and supplies in the warehouse and other logistics storage locations. Enters and manages data for the movement of all supplies and equipment within LSl's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Maintains efficient warehouse operations to ensure that the company ships and receives vital stock in time to meet production schedules. Functions as a designated custodian to safeguard and administer government-furnished and customer-acquired equipment, property, and assets. Essential Job Functions

Plans delivery actions from system-generated and approved pick lists, and reservation schedules to ensure timely delivery of parts and material to the production floor.
Plans layout, maintenance, and upkeep of the warehouse, stockroom, and other storage areas, and consolidates existing stock to maximize space utilization.
Enters receiving and inventory data utilizing Deltek CostPoint through approved supply methods. Maintains shipping, and transportation records in compliance with required file retention guidelines.
Aids the Government Property Administrator, Supply & Property Supervisor, and designated Program Managers to coordinate reutilization and disposition of government property.
Executes shared services within the supply chain management group to reconcile receiving and property discrepancies.
Assists with generating Return Material Authorization (RMA) requests for items classified as non-conforming.
Determines the best method of shipping by utilizing knowledge of logistics and shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
Loads and unloads material from trucks. Packs and unpacks shipments; processes and organizes parts into computerized inventory control systems. Participates in government property management and surveillance audits.
Responsible for the collection and data entry of required LSI forms to ensure accuracy and accountability of all furnished and acquired assets, inventory, and property.
Performs daily activities while maintaining best practices through proven logistics, supply, and inventory control methods.
Must be capable of safely handling government-furnished equipment and materials.
Must be available to work a standard weekly schedule with overtime as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Has a working knowledge of supply chain management, logistics, and government property administration.
Adhere to standards and regulations outlined in DFARS 252.45. 7001. Experience with materials and parts management.
Ability to understand and follow through with directions. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Preferred knowledge of materials modules within the Deltek CostPoint system.
Must be well organized and have superior attention to detail.
Must be capable of operating a forklift.
Must be able to lift 30 pounds.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent; AS. preferred.
Three (3) years of experience in the area of logistics, supply, warehousing, inventory, or government property is required.
Ability to obtain certification and operate a forklift.
Six Sigma or Lean certification preferred.
