Sr. Transportation Services Representative - Natural Gas Pipeline Scheduler

Storage & Transportation, a subsidiary of New Jersey resources is seeking a Sr. Transportation Services Representative to ensure all customer transactions on NJR Storage and Transportation operated assets are completed in an efficient and timely manner. Responsible for shipper nomination processing, confirmations, and allocations of gas volumes. Assist with imbalance resolution as needed. Ensure information on NJR Storage and Transportation asset Electronic Bulletin Board (EBB) is accurate and updated with each cycle. Coordinate with respective gas control for all volumes scheduled for flow.

Major Responsibilities:

• Supply information and updates detailing what is flowing on the assigned assets during daily morning meetings

• Ensure that pipeline EBB operational data is updated at each cycle

• Coordinate any constraints for current day, current month, upcoming month and up to full year with gas control team

• Confirm all gas activity with interconnecting parties in a timely and accurate manner

• Schedule the pipeline at each cycle and coordinate flow with gas control

• Allocate volumes based on SCADA data received from gas control

• Ensure all cut codes are accurate

• Communicate and resolve any issues with shippers as needed

• Review all contracts at least bi-weekly to check for swings and other imbalances; work with shippers to resolve any issues

• Alternate weekly duty of on-call

• Work with Settlements to reconcile invoiced volume discrepancies and transport rate discrepancies as needed

• Work with EBB provider and management to make improvements as needed

• Work with management on special projects

• Maintain effective internal and external contacts; actively work on customer relations

• Train new scheduling personnel

• Work in the spirit of cooperation that fosters teamwork and a sense of responsibility

• Focus on continuous learning and process improvement

Position Specifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, mathematics or related field is required

• At least five years of interstate pipeline gas scheduling experience is required

• Strong computer and analytical skills are essential

• Must be willing to have a flexible schedule as needed

• Highly motivated, proven self-starter, and independent thinker

• Team player with ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels

• Ability to meet tight deadlines for key deliverables in a high-pressure environment

Ability to work hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote as assigned
