Marketing Coordinator

The United Center, a premiere sports and entertainment facility and home of the Chicago Blackhawks and the Chicago Bulls, seeks a well-organized and passionate individual to be our Marketing Coordinator .

Job Responsibilities Include:

Content Creation

  • Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for company websites, email campaigns, marketing materials, social media and similar platforms
  • Brainstorm ing and develop ing effective content plans for communications and marketing efforts driven by previous success metrics
  • Present ing content concepts and work ing with team on final deliverables for internal and external needs


  • Track ing and interpret ing analytics and success metrics on communications and marketing touchpoints to drive strategy
  • Monitor ing and analyz ing event survey data to inform strategic initiatives

Social Media Marketing

  • Assist ing with captions and research for daily content that maintains social media accounts including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and YouTube
  • Assist ing in the development and maint enance of the social media strategy
  • Implement ing real-time social media coverage of United Center events. Video editing is a plus.
  • Monitor ing trends, track ing success and recommend ing strategies to increase reach, revenue and brand awareness
  • Compil ing metrics and analytics to recap event success and reach

Website Management

  • Maintain ing various United Center websites to ensure updated and accurate information
  • Provid ing insights and recommendations for future website updates
  • Provid ing organized, regular reporting and metrics to relevant parties as needed

Email Management

  • Creat ing and manag ing consumer-facing email marketing campaigns
  • E valuat ing and optimiz ing email templates and content
  • Track ing campaign performance and provid ing regular reports to relevant parties

Event Management

  • Collaborat ing with internal and external resources to effectively implement in-house activations and events
  • Provid ing hands on, on-site support for events as needed
  • Assist ing with the creation of event and marketing specific content for digital displays throughout the arena
  • Monitor ing company website metrics

Job Requirements Include:

  • Ideal candidate should display strong interpersonal, communication and project management skills and should have a flexible schedule.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, marketing, or a similar field.
  • Demonstrated excellence in writing, proofreading, and editing. Excellent research, organizational, and time management skills.
  • The individual must have the aptitude to work with various computer programs. Advanced Photoshop and InDesign knowledge is a requirement. Video editing, HTML and CSS programming preferred.
