Blistex is a privately-held enterprise with an unsurpassed record of product innovation and growth in its key businesses. From its first flagship product, Blistex Lip Ointment, the company has built a portfolio of unique, high quality products to satisfy a full spectrum of consumer needs, earning us our worldwide status as lip care experts. Blistex lip care is currently sold in more than 65 countries on every continent (except Antarctica).

Over the years, through internal development and a series of acquisitions, Blistex has expanded into other skin care and treatment segments within the OTC and Health & Beauty industry. In addition to the well-known Lip Care portfolio, Blistex manufactures and actively markets the Odor-Eaters brand for the control of foot odor and wetness, and the Stridex line of complexion care products. We manufacture and market specialty remedies in the segments of oral pain relief (Kanka) and poison ivy treatment (Ivarest). Also through acquisition, Blistex markets a line of moisturizers in Canada for hand, body and foot that includes that country's top hand cream. More recently, we added the Tucks brand of hemorrhoidal pads to our Healthcare portfolio. Today, we continue to pursue the challenge of leadership through innovation in every area of our business.

The International team directs and oversees a rapidly growing business. In recent years, expansion into new markets and new additions to the product line in existing markets have greatly increased Blistex global revenue and the team's visibility within the organization. Likewise, the team is growing and will continue to as we position ourselves to capitalize on current and future opportunities.

Scope, Responsibilities & Experience

As part of a consumer and market-driven organization, Marketing is charged with providing the driving force behind our businesses. The International Lip Care brand team has profit-and-loss responsibility for the Lip Care business everywhere outside the US and Canada. The team leads internal efforts and provides guidance to distributor partners in all areas of new product development, equity stewardship, activation, insight generation and day-to-day brand management activities. Existing within a streamlined corporate management structure, the team reports to the International Marketing Director, who in turn reports to the Vice President, International (a member of the Operating Committee). With few layers through which to navigate, the brand team has a distinct opportunity within the CPG industry to shape the global business through well-reasoned plans proceeding from a thorough understanding of market and consumer dynamics. Moreover, bright collaborative individuals have the potential to influence organizational thinking outside areas of immediate responsibility at a greater level than is possible in larger companies.

The Associate Brand Manager assists the Brand Manager in leading new product development efforts, developing communication content, guiding distributor partners in the development and execution of promotional and advertising campaigns, and establishing annual revenue and investment plans. The individual contributes to the improvement of the Department and the Company as a whole. At a time in our industry when responsibilities relating to innovation, brand equity and day-to-day management are often segregated, Blistex brand teams retain the leadership role in all three areas.

The Associate Brand Manager will have consumer marketing experience gleaned from assignments with top OTC/CPG companies, and will be asked to provide immediate contribution.
