New Jersey Resources is seeking an Finance Intern to support the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team.

Responsibilities:

• Support strategic and financial analyses of the Financial Planning & Analysis team and Chief Financial Officer

• Source publicly available financial information for analysis and benchmarking

• Analyze historical trends in corporate metrics

• Assist with design and build out of financial reports

Position Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Strategy or related field

• Strong analytical abilities and financial acumen, preferably in a corporate setting

• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to express complex ideas in simple terms

• Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple assignments and projects with varying deadlines

• Flexibility to work both independently and within a team

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint)

This is a 10-week paid summer position from June to August, Monday through Friday. Positions are open to undergraduate students, pursuing a degree in specified area of study. Candidates who have completed their Bachelor's degree or pursuing a Master's degree are not eligible for the intern program and welcome to apply to full time opportunities.
